The Sheds project showcases the versatility and efficiency of the Respace box-in-box system in creating a demountable timber terrace for the World Padel Tour qualifications. Designed, produced, and assembled in under a month, this innovative structure provided a remarkable viewing platform for spectators during the intense padel games. The primary objective of the project was to construct a terrace that was accessible from all angles on the ground floor, while ensuring stability and strength to accommodate over a hundred viewers. The Respace box-in-box system, with its modular components and adaptable design, proved to be the ideal solution. Utilizing a bracing system, the timber terrace was carefully engineered to withstand dynamic loads and offer a secure platform for spectators. The demountable nature of the structure allowed for easy installation and disassembly, making it highly flexible for various event requirements. The project demonstrated the seamless integration of aesthetics and functionality, creating an inviting and visually appealing space for the World Padel Tour qualifications. The combination of timber elements and the Respace box-in-box system resulted in a striking architectural feature that elevated the overall experience for both players and spectators. From concept to completion, the Sheds project exemplifies the innovative application of the Respace box-in-box system, showcasing its adaptability and efficiency in delivering remarkable structures within tight timelines.
